Coras started as an idea to share the knowledge and experience that make a great difference in one’s business life. And this, in return, will make a great difference to one’s personal life. When Shawn started his first business more than twenty years ago, he had to learn everything on the job. It was only through many mistakes that he realised how business should be run. There was no one to point him in the right direction or give him well-needed advice. If there had been, then he would have saved millions in cash, hours of his time and mainly his sanity, which is priceless. His hope is that through Coras he can help the local entrepreneurs on their way to success. Coras aims to:
- Provide a £1,000 cash prize to the winning applicant. They will also receive 6 months business mentoring from me – someone who has been there and done it, not just talks about it. There is also a possible investment opportunity of up to £50,000 that the winning applicant can tap into.
- Create a classy environment on the Awards Ceremony night where good people and good companies can come and benefit from each other, build relationships and gain business.
- Get inspired by real life stories of achievement in the face of overwhelming obstacles.
